Both the boys and girls basketball teams are collecting food donations throughout the week to support local pantries. Players will be out and about gathering items, and yes, there might be a little competition to see which group can collect the most!
Preferred Donation Items:
Canned or microwave meals
Canned soup (not for cooking)
Packaged snack items
Cereal
You can also drop off donations at the school anytime or bring them the night of the scrimmage.

Panorama Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Head Football Coach to lead and develop our football program. This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact—helping student-athletes grow in skill, teamwork, and confidence both on and off the field.

Unofficial Results: On Tuesday, the proposed bond referendum for the Panorama Community School District will fall short of the 60% voter approval required to pass.
Unfortunately, we will not be moving forward with the proposed improvements at our elementary and secondary schools.
The School Board and administration will continue to explore potential solutions to address the challenges that our students and staff face every day. We will continue to engage with the community as we move forward with this process.

For a $250,000 home, the tax impact would be approximately $222.91 per year (or $18.58 a month). For agricultural property, the impact would be $2.30 per acre in Dallas County, $2.03 in Guthrie County, and $2.69 in Greene County.
Panorama CSD currently has a cumulative levy rate of $10.50 per $1,000 of taxable property value. That figure is below the district’s 18-year average of $13.10—and among the lowest in our area. IT'S TIME TO INVEST IN RURAL IOWA!

The bond referendum will appear on ballots as Public Measure IV.
➡️Bond funds would provide a new secure entrance, a new roof, and playground upgrades to expand accessibility for all students at Panorama Elementary School.
➡️At Panorama Secondary School, career and technical education spaces would be improved. The main entrance, commons, art room, and restrooms would be renovated.
➡️A middle school gym expansion is planned for the secondary school, providing needed space for physical education, athletics, school activities, and community events.
Make plans to join us for a community meeting on Wednesday, October 29, at 6:30pm at the Panorama Secondary School. This will be a chance to learn about the bond issue and the ways it would support our schools and students.

Currently, our district has one of the lowest cumulative levy rates in our area. The potential tax impact of an approved bond issue would be $1.96 per $1,000 of taxable property value.
