Over the past few months, we have engaged in deep and meaningful dialogue regarding our school calendar. After reviewing our survey results sent on multiple occasions to staff, students, and families, gathering and answering questions, and exploring the potential benefits for our students and staff, we are excited to share an update on our direction.
Based on the strong interest shown by our community and the positive data collected, Panorama Schools will be moving forward with a formal recommendation for a four-day instructional week.
This proposal will be presented to the School Board for potential approval on March 9th.

Our goal is to evolve alongside the needs of our students and educators. This shift is not about doing less; it is about doing things better. Key highlights of the structure include:
Intentional Time: By adapting our schedule, we can provide more dedicated time for student support and staff collaboration while maintaining the same number of instructional minutes.

Student Wellbeing: This flexibility allows us to foster a more balanced, focused, and less-stressed environment for our entire school community.

At the end of the day, our priority is doing things better, even if it goes against the traditional structure. If this recommendation is approved for 2026-2027 academic year, we are committed to working tirelessly to ensure a successful and supported transition for every student, parent, and staff member.
