About Panorama Schools

Panorama Schools serves 800 K-12 students from the communities of Panora, Yale, Jamaica, Bagley and Linden, including the Lake Panorama area. Located in rural Guthrie County, 40 minutes from Des Moines, families who choose to educate their children at Panorama Schools enjoy a small classroom size and individual instruction while remaining close to the amenities of a larger city.

The district’s elementary building, built in 1998, includes the addition of four early childhood classrooms in 2010 and an innovative outdoor play area. The secondary education building, extensively renovated in 2010, includes a new 644-seat auditorium, art room, industrial technology area, fitness center, and eight new classrooms. Both buildings have geothermal technology to provide cost- and energy-efficient air control.
