As part of their final assessment for informational writing and to celebrate the Panorama Panthers' qualifying for state girls basketball, the 8th-graders in Mrs. Dorhout's class researched the history of girls basketball in Iowa. In groups, they chose topics to research and made posters to demonstrate their findings. Later in the week, they will each write informational paragraphs on a subtopic of their choice.
