"Life under the sea is better than anything they got up there." - Sebastian, The Little Mermaid. Any 9th-12th grade English/Language Arts/Speech students interested in attending Iowa Central’s Matinee Performance of The Little Mermaid on Wednesday, March 2, sign up on Mrs. Gafkjen’s door by February 23rd. The bus will depart at 7:30AM. Bring money for lunch.

 

Mark your calendars! Yearbook group photos on Wednesday, February 9, Blocks 4-5-6: FFA, FFA Officers, FCA, HS Choir, Jazz Choir, HS Band, Pep Band, GSA, TATU, HS TSA, Yearbook {1st & 2nd Semester staff}, Academic Bowl, 7/8 Choir, 7/8 Band, 6th Choir, and 6th Band. If you have a specific t-shirt or uniform for your group, please wear it.

 

GSA -  There will be a meeting in the Choir Room Thursday, Feb. 10th right after school. 

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS -  Please get your song selections in for the upcoming Middle School Dance.  Deadline is February 16th

 

HS Student Council MEETING TIME:  Tuesday, Feb. 8 @7:45AM in the Study Hall/Old Library!

 

HS SOCCER-If you are interested in playing high school soccer, sign-up sheets are now in the office. The first practice for both boys/girls will be Monday, March 14, 2022.

More information will be coming soon to order warm-ups and soccer merchandise.

GIRLS GOLF-If you are interested in playing girls golf, there is a sign-up sheet in the office. Please be sure to add your shirt size for uniforms. If you have any questions contact Coach Melissa Hochstetler 

 

SPRING 2022 DRIVER’S ED – The signup sheet for spring driver’s ed is in the office along with the schedules.  Driver’s Ed will start March 7th at 7:15 a.m. in Mr. Bahrenfuss’ Room.  Driving partners and drive times will be chosen on the first day of class Monday, March 7th

 

HS TRACK & FIELD:  There will be open gym on Sunday, February 13t from 2-3 pm in the weight room.  These sessions are open to anyone.

SPORTS PICTURES -  The following students owe for sports pictures:  Aliyah Fortner, Jared Wasson, Zoey Hambleton, Lindy Nelson, Cooper Andersen, Maddox Nunn, & Will Knapp.  Payment can be made in the office.  Checks should be written to Ketelsen Photography. 

 

Panorama's Got Talent - Tuesday, March 22

Do you sing? Dance? Act? Juggle? Perform Magic? Tell Jokes? 

We would love to showcase your talents! Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Viewer's Choice. Middle School and High School Divisions available. Sign up for Panorama's Got Talent in the office by March 11. 

 

Guidance Dept:

Job Opportunity - local employer Jason Clark, Iowa Trenchlessand Midwest Vac Professionals, is looking for HS helpers to employ who are at least 16 years old and available this spring and summer for near full time positions (students in school baseball for example would not be able to meet the position demands due to time availability).
