RED RIBBON WEEK

Next week is Red Ribbon Week and here are the dress up days:

Monday – Hawaiian Day

Tuesday – Twin Day

Wednesday – Character Day (cartoon or movie)

Thursday – Decade Day (70’s, 80’s, or 90’s)

Advisory points will be awarded. 

 

STUDENTS- Locker tags are not to be touched, removed, or vandalized. 

 

PICTURE RETAKES – Monday, October 25th, are picture retakes.  Jostens will be here in the morning. 

 

SOPHOMORES –  The Jostens representative will be here at 11:30 in the Auditorium for a presentation on Class Rings. 

 

NHS - The Panorama NHS kids will be trick or treating for the food pantry Oct. 30th from 6pm-8pm in the city of Panora.  In addition, they are sponsoring a competition at the elementary school the week of October 25-28th. to see which class can bring in the most items.  If you would like to donate, but neither of these options work for you, feel free to bring the donations into the secondary building. 

 

NASA - Any 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student interested in participating in the NASA Space Settlement Design Competition please see Mrs. Church or Mrs. Ploeger.  Your application letter is due Friday, November 5th.   The competition is March 17-21 in Houston, TX. 

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL  - All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders please check your email and fill out the form which was sent to you for Middle School Student of the month.  All forms must be submitted by the end of the day.

 

SENIORS: Class Song Selection form...Check your school email for the form.  Complete by the end of the day!

 

HS Girls Basketball: See Coach Boettcher to update roster & get open gym times.

 

BASKETBALL CHEERLEADING -  There is a sign up in the office for any high school student interested in going out for basketball cheerleading.

 

GUIDANCE INFO

"HS students interested in taking DMACC (college) spring courses (Term 3 & 4), please visit with Mr. Webner this week to complete the required DMACC registrations for online courses, and courses at other campus (Perry or Guthrie Center - see listings of college course opportunities in email sent October 18 through gmail and Infinite Campus."

 

Our elementary building up the hill is hoping HS students will again this school year have interest in volunteering to help elementary teachers.
