Day A

 

Students please remember that we do have a dress code.

 

In addition, clothing that calls undue attention to anatomical details may not be worn. Examples include but are not limited to mini-skirts, short shorts, bare midriff and spaghetti strap style tops, backless tops, open mesh clothing without proper clothing underneath, sagging pants, or clothing with holes in inappropriate places which show intimate apparel. Bro tanks and muscle shirts may be worn. Shirts can not be torn completely down the sides. Administration in conjunction with the staff will have discretion in determining if the dress code is violated.

Shoes or sandals must be worn at all times. Slippers may not be worn. Chains are not allowed on clothing or wallets. No spiked jewelry may be worn.

Students will not be permitted to wear caps, hats, hoods, or any headgear unless approved by the
principal or assistant principal. Hats are to remain in the locker during the school day. In addition,
sunglasses cannot be worn in school unless prescribed by a doctor.

 

Get out of my swamp... but into the musical!  Auditions for the fall musical, Shrek: The Musical, will be before and after school on August 31, September 1, and September 2. (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week). Sign up for an audition spot on Ms. Arganbright's door. 

 

BAND - This announcement is for anyone who was in High School band the last several years - please check your closets for band jackets.  We are missing a few.  Thanks

 

MS BAND - Any 6-8th grade band members that would like to play the school song at the game tonight, please meet in the band room at 6:15 tonight.  There will be food!!!!


NHS Lifeserve Blood Drive Wednesday, Sept. 8th from 12:30-6pm in the middle school gym.  You must be at least 16 years old to donate by Sept. 8th.  All 16 and 17 year olds who have not donated before will need a signed parent permission slip.  Here is the link to sign up.

SENIORS please take a moment to fill out the senior spotlight questions emailed to you ASAP. Also, send your senior photos and baby pictures to Mrs. Gafkjen for journalism and the yearbook.

 

CROSS COUNTRY - The cross country teams are in need of managers.  Managers will only be needed on competition dates (one day a week usually).  Please see Mr. Thompson if interested.

 

FCA: Any HS students who want to join the FCA Leadership Team?  Applications are outside Mrs. Boettcher's door.  FCA applications due by Sept 2

Current FCA Leadership Team Meeting Sept. 1, 7:45 AM in Mrs. Gafkjen's room.

 

PANTHER SERVICE GROUP - Any High School student that would like to be in the Panther Service Group, please see Mrs. Clouser in the main office.  

 

Seniors who would like to run for class officers, please sign up in the office by Sept. 2nd.

YEARBOOK PICTURES – This is the schedule for yearbook pictures.  Please remember your envelop and money on the day you get your picture taken.

 

High School/Middle School Cross Country – August 31st at 3:45 p.m.

High School Volleyball – Sept. 1st at 3:45 p.m.

Middle School Volleyball - Sept. 8th at 3:45 p.m.
