FFA Helps Panther Pantry with a Tolietry Drive

This past week during Panorama's Snowcoming activities, we were able to help the Panther Pantry toiletry drive. Requested items were dish soaps, laundry detergents, and shampoos. As a chapter we appreciate the support our community gives us so we like to give back. Every year we will assist in acquiring those needed items by budgeting part of our fundraising funds to purchase some needed items. This year due to savings and discounts given to us by HyVee in our Meals for the Homefront event in December, we were able to increase our spending. This year we were able to spend $722 dollars at Hometown of Panora on 26 6 roll packs of paper towels, 15 12 roll toilet papers packages, 50 bottles of laundry detergent, and 129 frozen single meals. A total of 220 items were purchased for the Panther Pantry. We are proud to be able to support this service that helps so many in our community. Big shout out to Reagan, Riley, Claire, Paul, Miles, Seth, Brock, Sarah, Abbi, and Hailey for helping shop!
