English Language Learners

Students who are learning to speak English need accommodations in school to facilitate their learning. English Language Learners (ELLs) are given assessments to determine where they are with their language acquisition. Classroom teachers and ELL teacher, Lynette Keuning, design accommodations and instruction geared toward fostering language development. Many resources are available through Heartland AEA and are utilized as needed.
