Another School of the Wild week long adventure is in the books for our Panorama 5th grade students! This is one of our favorite times of the year; we stepped out of our comfort zones and into nature. The students were able to hike, kayak, fish, build fires/shelters in the woods, travel back in time and learn the history of the grounds, study the water cycle & quality, and learn all about the plants, animals, and habits. Most importantly, the students made connections with eachother & nature and overcame many obstacles throughout the week. There is no way we could ever recreate this experience in the classroom and are so thankful for the people and groups that make this happen each year for our students!
