6th grade Science students were given the task to design a robot eye that engineers will use to allow robots to "see". They were only allowed to use materials readily available at school or home when building the eye. Students had to research and fine the function 7 different parts of the eye (cornea, iris, pupil, lens, retina, optic nerve, and ciliary muscle). Once students discovered the function they had to find materials to represent all 7 parts of the eye and put it together.
