Mr. Dorhout's 7th Grade Science Class News!

As part of the seventh grade science class, Lake Lumber donated 120 running feet of cedar one by sixes, for a bunch of wren houses. Mr. Osbahr‘s class is going to be cutting all the stock, and Mr. Dorhout‘s class is going to be putting the bird houses together. This is part of a citizen science program where all seventh graders will be getting a birdhouse to put up, monitor, and maintain over their seventh and eighth grade years. Many thanks to Lake Lumber and their dedicated staff. It’s these kinds of opportunities that give kids an interest in science, in the out-of-doors and in school. We appreciate it a lot!
