Please read regarding transportation for the upcoming school year.

       Panorama Families,

It is almost school time again and I want to remind everyone that kids will be walking to school and bus stops soon. Please take the extra time to watch out for students and school buses and stop when the bus lights are flashing so we can keep our kids safe.

Currently, we are in the process of making up the bus routes.  As enrollment comes to a close the bus drivers will call families by Friday, August 19. If you don’t hear from a bus driver by Friday, please call to make sure you have your student signed up for the bus. However, Town Stop families will not receive a phone call. Town Stop times are posted on our website (

We have another school bus equipped with seatbelts, as it is Iowa law to purchase all new school buses with seatbelts. We currently have 6 of our 8 route buses with seat belts. It is our policy that if the bus you are riding is equipped with seatbelts, they are required to be used properly. If students are caught not wearing the seat belts properly, riding privileges will be suspended for 1 week.

The Clay street project is going to be completed soon and we are hoping that will help us all with traffic flow.  We will start the school year with the elementary building having drop off and pick up the same as previous years. If we change this after the Clay street project is complete, we will send out notification. Please be aware of the changes with the new street and make sure to follow all traffic signs and only drop off students at designated locations. Please make sure to not pass any stopped vehicles as students could be exiting these vehicles.

The safety of our students is our priority and we are looking forward to a safe school year. If you have any questions about transportation, please contact me.

Thank You,

Greg Randel
