Day A

 

VOLLEYBALL - Today at 2:00 pm there will be a volleyball meeting in the auditorium for all students interested in playing volleyball next year that will be in grades 9-12. This will be with the new head volleyball coach Mollie Sorber 

 

At 5:15 we will have a meeting for all parents of students interested in playing volleyball 7-12 next year to meet coach Sorber

 

TRAPSHOOTING - There will be a meeting in the auditorium for the Panorama High School Trapshooting team at 1:41pm Thursday, April 21.

 

HS Softball Meeting: Thursday, April 21 @ 8AM in the study hall room (old library) room. This meeting is for all 8th - 12th grade girls interested in playing softball this summer. See Coach Boettcher with any questions.

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT COUNCIL - Any 6th & 7th grade students who are interested in applying for the Middle School Student Council for the 22-23 school year please see Mrs. Clouser for an application.  Applications are available April 22-May 6th.  They are due by May 9th. 

 

GSA - meeting will be this Thursday in the choir room immediately following school.   

 

High School baseball players--practice begins on Monday, May 2.  Practice begins at 4 PM.  Make sure you have physical and concussion forms turned in. Thank you!

The following students need to pay Heather Hellman for their pictures:  Frederik Joergensen, Natalie Donovan, McKenna Burns, Jazmyn & Jaidyn Sellers, and Emily Lutz.

 

Payments can be made in the office. 

 

FCA Large Group HUDDLES:  Join us for Panorama FCA's IMPACT PLAY: Devotionals led by your very own FCA student leaders!  These Huddles are open to any 6th - 12th grade Panorama student.  Mark your calendar and see us there at 7:30 AM:  April 19 (atrium), May 3 (atrium), May 17 (Gazebo on the Square), and May 31 (Crafty's).

 

NHS Meeting rescheduled for the 28th of April at 7:45am in the atrium for Induction practice.  Attendance is required for all current NHS members.

NHS packets are due to Mrs. Church or the office April 20th by 4pm.

Anyone interested in prom pictures by Ketelsens can sign up in the office.  These will be taken right before grand march.

JOB OPPORTUNITY

  1. Job Opportunity - local employer Jason Clark, Iowa Trenchlessand Midwest Vac Professionals, is looking for HS helpers to employ who are at least 16 years old and available this spring and summer for near full time positions (students in school baseball for example would not be able to meet the position demands due to time availability).   1. Paramedic Career Information - local resident and Panorama alumni Alex Olsen would like to meet at PHS with any students interested or curious about becoming a paramedic. If interested, please let Mr. Webner know.

 

Local Farmer and Business Owner, Jeff Hafner, needs helpers after school. 

As temperature warms up then expands work hours to include weekends, also summer workers will be needed.

Flexible work hour scheduling available.

$10/hour

Workers help with the milling process for flour.

Many PHS students and parents have worked for Mr. Hafner over the years and "sung his praises" as not only a good boss but someone who tries to help people do what is right for their lives and future professions.

City of Guthrie Center is taking applications for:

 

  • Lifeguards
  • Concession Stand Workers – must be at least 14 years of age

Note – Lifeguard applicants must be able to demonstrate competency as a lifeguard.  Applicants will be required to show ability to complete successful saves and successfully backboard a victim prior to being hired.

 

Wages vary with experience.  Applicants may be subject to pre-employment drug testing.
