Day A

 

Mr. Bauch is gone today for ISU honor band.  6th grade band will be a study hall in the green screen room. 7/8th graders can stay in study hall if they want.  

Pep band - be here tonight at 5:30.  Take responsibility ,&  play well!!

ANY SENIOR who has not filled out your senior spotlight, PLEASE do so ASAP and send Mrs. Gafkjen your senior picture. IF you've filled it out, but haven't sent in your picture, PLEASE do so ASAP.  Much thanks!! -the Journalism class

 

Junior High Girls basketball will have a final meeting today at 5 pm in Mrs. Ploeger's room.  Please bring your practice jersey and a drink.  We will be having pizza.  Let Mrs. Ploeger know if you plan to be there!

 

All Conference Academic Bowl - Any high school student who is interested in signing up to be on the All Conference Academic Bowl team  please sign the sheet on Mrs. Church's door.  The competition is March 10th after school.

 

DRIVER’S EDUCATION – Monday, March  16th, will be the start of Driver’s Education.  If you are interested in taking  this course, please stop in the office and sign up and pick up the required papers.

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TRACK - Our first practice will be February 17 right after school for those not in winter sports.  Please have all forms completed by then.  There is a sign up sheet outside of Mr. Thompson's classroom for all girls who want to be on the track team this spring.

Junior Class MeetingThere will be a junior class meeting related to prom today during 4th block.

HS baseball sign up-if you plan on playing baseball this summer, sign up with either Coach Little or Coach Bahrenfuss.  Also, sign up for the Remind App for baseball if you are not already a member.

 

SPORTS PICTURES – The following students need to pay for and pick up their sport pictures in the office:  Emry Kolby, Dane Kemble, Emma Wasson, & Zoey Lutz.  Checks can be made out to Ketelsen Photography. 

 

SENIORS – You need to get those senior pictures and baby pictures in for the yearbook ASAP. You can drop them off in the office!

 

Seniors - Reminder to look in your school gmail account for scholarship related messages relayed from various organizations. Deadlines are quickly approaching for some. 2 examples: DMACC/Accumold Feb.14 for you to notify me & Iowa Financial Know-How Challenge with Feb.21 deadline.

 

CROSS COUNTRY FUNDRAISER FRIDAY BEFORE THE GAME

Chili supper toninght from 4:30 – 6:30 pm in the High School Commons.  Meal includes chili, (crackers/cheese provided) cinnamon roll, and vegetables.  It will be a free will donation.  All proceeds go toward the 2020 Colorado Team Camp.

 

Snowcoming 2020:   Snowcoming is in its 8th year at Panorama.  It is a week dedicated to giving back to the community.  Over the years, students & staff have raised over $3000 in donations to various local and statewide organizations.  This year we will accept donations for Tori's Angel's, Panther Pantry, 3Cs, & March of Dimes.

Snowcoming Royalty: 

Students and staff nominate community members who deserve recognition for their time, commitment, and support to Panorama Schools.  Write in 300 words or less why you believe your nominee needs to be recognized as this year’s Snowcoming Royalty. Entries due to the HS office or Mrs. Boettcher ([email protected]) today. 

 

Snowcoming High School Dance: Tonight after the basketball game (9PM to 11PM). $3 charge at the door.  Out-of-Town guests need to be registered with the office by Feb. 7 @noon.  All proceeds will go to our Snowcoming Charities!
