Meet Mrs. Blomquist

Hello!  My name is Kelly Blomquist.  I am the Elementary Instructional Coach here at Panorama Elementary.  I grew up in Corydon, Iowa and graduated from Graceland University in 2007.  I began my career teaching Kindergarten in Creston, Iowa in 2007.  In 2013, I married my husband, Callen, and moved to Guthrie Center.  That same year, I started teaching Kindergarten here at Panorama.  In 2016, our son Zaire was born and I moved from Kindergarten to 3rd grade.  After 5 years in 3rd grade, I made the switch to Math Interventionist.  In 2023, I became the instructional coach for the elementary and I look forward to continuing to improve in my practice, as well as assist teachers and students with new learning.  In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and playing with my son.  My son, Zaire, will be a 2nd grader at Panorama.  He and I live in Guthrie Center with our dog, Ace.  I am very blessed to be able to teach here at Panorama with our amazing staff and all of our awesome kiddos!  Let's have a great year!
